Broken spring
A loud bang in the garage, and now the door won’t open.
Springs hold hundreds of pounds of tension. Don’t pull on the door or try to adjust them. We replace high-tension springs safely, and usually recommend changing both springs together since they’ve worn the same.
Opener not working
The motor hums or clicks, the remote does nothing, or the light just blinks.
We repair and replace openers of every make, and install LiftMaster openers with rolling-code remotes and safety sensors. To open the door by hand, close it first, then pull the red release cord.
Off track or crooked
The door hangs at an angle, rubs, or a cable has come loose.
Leave it closed and keep clear: a door off its track can fall. We fix cables, tracks and rollers and rebalance the door.
Damaged door
A dented panel, a bumper hit, or a door that’s simply worn out.
Sometimes a section can be replaced. Sometimes a new door is the better buy. We’ll tell you which, with a free estimate.
Noisy or slow
Grinding, groaning, or a door that drifts when you let go halfway.
